A roughly A4 sized screen print, inspired by a walk I took through South Bank, London on a cloudy day. Referring to photos from this walk, I wanted to evoke a moment of calm immediately before a change in the weather. I used newsprint stencils throughout, and made the stencil for each layer as I went along, reacting to the outcome of the previous layer.
Hand-pulled 3 colour screen prints, printed on cartridge paper with acrylic paint. This screen print is a limited edition of 11, I will not be making any more after this edition runs out.
Please note that these are original, handmade prints, therefore there may be imperfections such as slight misalignments of colour layers (I say it’s part of the screen print charm!)
The prints are packaged in a protective plastic sleeve.
